When incorporating more raw foods into your diet you will start experiencing the benefits. The highly processed, cooked foods of the Standard American Diet (SAD) contribute to low energy, obesity, and disease. Just by adding a small percentage of raw foods to the SAD diet, people lose weight, have more energy and are not so SAD anymore. The enyzmes, vitamins, minerals, and fiber within raw foods can heal and detoxify the body. There has also been scientific proof that a plant-based diet has saved many lives from many common illnesses and diseases. Here is a list of some of the benefits.
-
Promote healthy looking skin and hair growth
-
Improve mental focus, clarity and vision
-
Revitalize overworked organs
-
Stabilize your mood
-
Stabilize your weight
-
Improves Energy
-
Improves overall health issues
ENZYMES- Uncooked foods contain enzymes, which are proteins that are needed for proper digestion, immune function, brain function, and energy. I'm currently not a licensed nutritionist, so these are things I've learned along my journey. I started incorporating a vegan diet over 20 years ago because I always felt uncomfortable with low energy. I am almost completely vegan at this time. When I do have a cheating-vegan day I can really feel the difference. It is very hard when society is on a different path, and vegan food (especially raw foods) are not available. Finally top chefs are starting to add vegan choices to their menus which makes going out to dinner with family and friends much more enjoyable for me. I have created amazing raw food dishes and will be focusing more in that direction . Visit our gallery to see a few.
